The Pay

$26–$42 per hour base (based on experience)
Production bonus structure
Realistic earning potential: $68,000–$90,000 annually
(Assumes 32–35 weekly production hours)
This structure works because not everything in a smaller-town shop is billable — sometimes you’re helping with vehicle pickup, mentoring, or solving big problems. You still get paid well.
