Entry-Level Automotive Technician / Apprentice – No Weekends
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $15–$18/hour (depending on experience)

Position Summary
Promotive is hiring a motivated Entry-Level Automotive Technician / Apprentice for a well-established shop in Auburn Hills, MI. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their automotive career who wants hands-on experience, paid training, and a clear path to grow into a full Automotive Technician role.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced technicians with diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services – learn with the best!
- Perform basic services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks – once you have the basics down!
- Support shop operations including moving vehicles, cleaning, and organizing work areas
- Learn to perform inspections on brakes, suspension, and other vehicle systems
- Use digital vehicle inspection (DVI) tools to document findings – we will teach you!
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, professional workspace
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs
Qualifications
- Entry-level candidates or early-career technicians encouraged to apply
- Strong interest in automotive repair and long-term career growth
- Basic mechanical knowledge or automotive schooling is a plus
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior technicians
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- State certifications required as you progress in the role

- Hourly pay: $15–$18/hour
