We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join a highly respected, family-owned automotive repair shop in Medfield, Massachusetts. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and build lasting relationships through exceptional customer service
- Prepare accurate repair estimates and clearly explain recommended maintenance and repair services
- Recommend maintenance and repair services while helping customers prioritize vehicle needs
- Source and coordinate parts for scheduled maintenance and repairs
- Communicate effectively with technicians throughout the repair process
- Monitor repair progress and provide timely customer updates
- Maintain accurate records using shop management and Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) software
- Help drive shop performance through strong sales, customer retention, and customer follow-up
Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer
- Strong sales ability and outstanding customer communication skills
- Automotive repair knowledge and estimating experience preferred
- Ability to confidently and ethically recommend maintenance and repair services
- Experience in an independent repair shop or dealership environment
- ASE Certifications are a plus
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
