Location: Annapolis, MD
Schedule: Monday to Saturday (rotating 5-day schedule, 8 AM – 6 PM)
Earning Potential: $100K+ annually with bonus

Position Summary

Promotive is hiring an experienced Automotive Service Advisor for a busy, multi-bay shop in Annapolis, MD. This is a high-traffic, full-service environment with a mix of Domestic, Euro, and Asian vehicles. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and build trust with customers while clearly understanding their needs

  • Write accurate repair orders and create estimates for approval

  • Manage the full service cycle: from scheduling to final delivery

  • Coordinate effectively with technicians and parts staff

  • Source parts and track ETA to maintain workflow

  • Recommend and sell additional services when appropriate

  • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail

  • Keep a calm, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Service Advisor or similar customer-facing role in an auto repair environment

  • Excellent communication, sales, and multitasking skills

  • Ability to stay organized while managing multiple customers and repair orders

  • Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-first mindset

  • Experience with RO Writer or similar shop management software is a plus

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $50,000 annually

  • Bonus Potential: $50K+ based on sales and performance

  • Health Insurance: 50% employer-paid for individual (dependents can be added at full cost)

About the Shop

  • Shop Size: 2 buildings with a total of 14 bays and 14 lifts

  • Staffing: 2 A Techs, 2 B Techs, 1 General Service Tech, 1 Parts Staff

  • Car Count: Approx. 75 cars/week

  • Average Repair Order: $300–$500

  • Hours Turned by Techs: 30–40 per week

  • Technology: Autel diagnostic tools, RO Writer, alignment rack

  • Shop Environment: No A/C, heated in winter

  • Vehicle Mix: Primarily Domestic with Euro and Asian makes
