Position Summary

Promotive is hiring an experienced Automotive Service Advisor / Counter Sales Professional for a newly opened, high-growth shop in Fenton, MI. This is a customer-facing sales role with a strong guaranteed weekly base plus aggressive bonus potential.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet customers and serve as the primary point of contact from intake to vehicle delivery

  • Present recommended maintenance and repair services with confidence and professionalism

  • Overcome objections and clearly communicate repair value and urgency

  • Build long-term customer relationships and maintain high CSI scores

  • Create and manage repair orders, ensuring clear communication between customers and technicians

  • Utilize TekMetric shop management software and digital vehicle inspections (DVI)

  • Support daily workflow and help drive shop productivity

  • Contribute to a positive, team-first culture

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience as a Automotive Service Advisor, Automotive Service Writer, or Automotive Counter Sales professional

  • Proven sales ability with strong objection-handling skills

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Highly organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Tech-savvy and experienced with shop management systems or CRM tools

  • Professional presentation and customer-first mindset

  • Interest in future shop ownership is a plus

  • Valid driver’s license required
