Position Overview

Promotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor for a high-performing independent shop in Milwaukee, WI. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position with no weekend hours, a strong base salary (depending on experience and capability), and generous performance bonuses. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers, assess vehicle needs, and communicate clearly throughout the repair process

  • Build trust by explaining recommended services and helping customers make informed decisions

  • Write accurate repair orders and estimates, with strong attention to detail

  • Work closely with technicians and the service manager to ensure efficient workflow

  • Keep customers updated and ensure every visit ends with a satisfied client

  • Assist in improving shop efficiency, profitability, and front-of-house processes

  • Upsell appropriate services that benefit the customer and boost shop performance

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as an automotive service advisor

  • Proven ability to manage workflow and deliver high-level customer service

  • Strong communication, sales, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and be accountable for results

  • Familiarity with Domestic and Asian vehicles preferred

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
