Automotive Service Technician (A, B, or C Level)

Location: Harford County, MD
Compensation: $25–$50/hour flat rate
Annual Earning Potential: $50,000–$100,000+ based on experience & certifications
Schedule: Monday–Friday | No Weekends

Position Overview

We are hiring A, B, and C Level Automotive Service Technicians for a busy, well-established independent shop in Harford County, MD. Whether you’re an experienced master tech or a motivated C-level technician looking to grow, we have a place for you.

This is a Monday–Friday opportunity with strong car count, consistent workflow, and a team-oriented culture. Pay is based on skill level, certifications, and experience — with top technicians earning $100K+ annually.

Technician Levels & Pay Range

C-Level Technician

  • Perform maintenance and basic repairs

  • Oil changes, brakes, tires, basic suspension

  • 1–3 years of experience preferred

  • Entry flat rate within range

B-Level Technician

  • Strong diagnostic ability

  • Engine repair, electrical, drivability, HVAC

  • 3–5+ years of experience

  • ASE certifications preferred

A-Level / Master Technician

  • Advanced diagnostics and complex repairs

  • Engine performance, electrical systems, major repairs

  • 5+ years experience

  • ASE Master Certification strongly preferred

  • Leadership/mentorship ability is a plus

  • Top-tier flat rate within range

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently

  • Perform quality inspections and recommend needed services

  • Maintain productivity and efficiency standards

  • Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members

  • Keep a clean, safe, and organized workspace

  • Follow shop processes and quality standards

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive technician experience (level-dependent)

  • ASE certifications (preferred, higher pay for certified techs)

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

  • Own tools (level-dependent)

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

  • Positive attitude and team mindset

Compensation & Benefits
