Automotive Service Writer / Advisor (6-Figure Earning Potential)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00am–5:00pm

We’re a growing, high-performing independent repair shop looking for an experienced Automotive Service Writer / Advisor who knows how to manage a service drive, communicate clearly with customers, and keep production strong.

If you bring 10+ years in the automotive industry, at least 5 years as a Service Advisor, and experience in a dealership-style environment, this is an opportunity to step into a well-structured shop with real earning potential and room to grow.

Shop Overview

  • Full-service operation, Monday–Friday

  • 9 bays, 5 lifts, alignment rack, outdoor work area

  • Average Repair Order: ~$1,500

  • Weekly car count: 7–15

 

Technology

  • Tekmetric (DVI and CRM)

Position Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and manage the service process from write-up through delivery

  • Build trust, present repair recommendations, and sell work ethically

  • Coordinate workflow between customers and technicians

  • Utilize Tekmetric for inspections, estimates, follow-ups, and CRM

  • Maintain strong ARO and production consistency

  • Operate within a dealership-style structure while maintaining a personal customer experience

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 10+ years in the automotive industry

  • 5+ years as an Automotive Service Advisor / Writer

  • Dealership or high-volume background strongly encouraged

  • Tekmetric experience preferred

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Professional, dependable, and production-minded

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-standards shop environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary plus commission 45K-60K (based on experience)

  • Earning potential over $100,000 per year

  • Dental, vision, and life insurance covered 100% by the shop

  • One week of PTO available after probation (sick time included)
