Store Manager – Automotive Service Center
Hours: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Weekends Off!)
Position Overview
The Store Manager plays a critical role in the overall success of our automotive service center. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving strong financial performance. As the leader of the shop, the Store Manager sets the standard for professionalism, efficiency, and company values. This role requires a hands-on leader with proven automotive management experience who can motivate teams, optimize operations, and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all store operations, including customer service, scheduling, workflow, and inventory control

Supervise, train, coach, and develop team members to maintain high performance and professionalism

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations

Monitor and manage financial performance, including sales goals, labor costs, and profitability

Build strong customer relationships and professionally resolve escalated concerns

Oversee parts ordering, vendor relationships, and inventory accuracy

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment

Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction

Collaborate with ownership and upper management on strategic initiatives and operational needs

Perform shop-related tasks as needed, including assisting with sales, answering phones, shuttle driving, or other duties that can be safely completed
Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Minimum of 5 years of general management experience in the automotive industry

Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop a diverse team

Solid understanding of automotive repair operations, workflow management, and customer service

Proven ability to manage budgets, analyze performance metrics, and achieve financial goals

Proficiency with computer systems and software for scheduling, invoicing, and customer records

Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with automotive shop management software

ASE certifications or a technical automotive background

Prior experience managing multi-bay repair facilities
