Position Summary

Promotive is hiring an experienced A Level Automotive Technician for a well-established, ethics-driven shop in St. George, UT. This is a Monday-Friday role with strong flat-rate pay, consistent workflow, and — just to be clear — no weekends. Not even “just this once.”

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical and drivability issues
  • Perform bumper-to-bumper repairs across all makes and models
  • Handle engine, suspension, steering, brake, and HVAC system repairs
  • Complete inspections and clearly document findings
  • Work efficiently in a flat-rate environment without sacrificing quality
  • Collaborate with a tight-knit, communicative team
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace (lost tools slow down diagnostics)

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional automotive technician experience
  • 5+ years of electrical and drivability diagnostic experience
  • Strong diagnostic skills across multiple makes and models
  • Ability to complete complex repairs independently
  • Team-oriented mindset (no lone wolves or tool-throwing required)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Desire to continue learning and improving
