Job Description
Family owned / operated in the Santa Cruz, CA and have been in business since 1994 in California is looking for an A Level Automotive Technician. Understanding the importance of providing honest, friendly, and professional automotive repair service as the vast majority of our new customers are referred to the shop by those they currently serve. Their goal is to build lifelong relationships with their customers and provide them with the best and most reliable car repair service available in the automotive industry. They are able to do this by using state-of-the-art and up-to-date equipment and employing well trained and highly skilled certified mechanics with experience servicing all makes and models (heavy focus of European vehicles).
As an A Level Automotive Technician with over 8 years of experience, you will be a vital asset in diagnosing and repairing automotive issues efficiently.
What they are looking for:
- Extensive diagnostic experience (8+ years experience)
- European diagnostic experience is required
- Properly diagnose the customer’s concern and document, with words and pictures, the intended cure for that concern
- Perform a vehicle health report on every vehicle, recommending repairs on any broken, damaged, or worn-out components
- Efficiently perform diagnostics / repairs on vehicles
- Verify all repairs correct the customer’s concern
- Communicate effectively with the Service Advisors about the status of vehicles, required parts, and required labor
- Treat the customer’s vehicle with respect
- Ensure it leaves the shop in a better state than when it arrived
- Come to work with a positive attitude
- Mentor and leader of the shop
- Train and develop other technicians
- Assist other teammates with tasks as needed
- Technicians must have the ability and be willing to attend training, both online and in person
