Position Summary

Promotive is hiring an experienced A Level Automotive Technician for a growing, customer-focused repair shop in Centralia, WA. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday opportunity with no weekends, competitive flat-rate pay, and a strong team-oriented culture built around quality workmanship and professionalism.

The shop is specifically looking for an experienced A Level Tech with strong diagnostic ability, extensive hands-on repair experience, and pride in delivering high-quality work. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across all major vehicle systems
  • Diagnose complex drivability, electrical, and performance-related concerns
  • Complete brake, suspension, steering, drivetrain, and A/C system repairs
  • Conduct Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) and document findings electronically
  • Utilize scan tools and diagnostic software to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Communicate repair recommendations clearly with service advisors and team members
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace
  • Uphold high standards for workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional automotive repair experience
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on diagnostic expertise
  • Shop is specifically seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with scan tools and digital inspection platforms
  • ASE certifications preferred but not required
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented mindset

Compensation & Benefits
