Location: Campbell, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | No weekends
Pay: $40–$55/hour + Production Bonus

Position Overview

A successful, established, and fast-paced automotive repair shop in Campbell, CA is seeking a highly skilled A-Level Diagnostic Technician to join its team. This role is critical to the shop’s continued success and reputation for excellence.

The ideal candidate is an experienced diagnostic expert with the ability to work on all makes and models, including EVs and hybrids. This technician must be efficient, detail-oriented, and capable of building trust with customers through accurate diagnostics and high-quality repairs. The right person will also serve as a leader and mentor to other technicians while contributing positively to a team-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics on all makes and models, including EVs and hybrids

  • Accurately diagnose complex electrical, drivability, and performance issues

  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, including Pico Scope

  • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high quality standards

  • Support and mentor other technicians as a shop leader

  • Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members

  • Uphold the shop’s commitment to exceptional customer experience

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional automotive repair experience (required)

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Advanced diagnostic expertise

  • Strong proficiency using Pico Scope

  • Extensive EV & hybrid experience (Tesla experience is a plus)

  • DVI experience required

  • ASE certifications preferred (not required)

  • Diesel experience is a plus

  • Proven leadership and mentoring ability

Compensation & Benefits
