Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM | Saturday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
Pay: $27–$35/hr Flat Rate (Depending on Experience)
Weekly Guarantee: $600.00

Position Summary

Promotive is hiring an experienced A Level Automotive Technician for a high-performing, multi-location repair shop in Fenton, MI. This is a full-time, flat-rate position with a weekly guarantee and serious earning potential for technicians who know how to diagnose and turn hours efficiently.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on all makes and models

  • Troubleshoot complex issues including check engine lights, drivability concerns, and engine performance problems

  • Complete brake, suspension, steering, electrical, and engine repairs

  • Use modern scan tools including Autel, Snap-On, and Launch

  • Conduct Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) using TekMetric

  • Communicate findings clearly with Service Advisors to support accurate estimates

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work bay

  • Turn flagged hours efficiently while maintaining top-tier quality

What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of professional automotive technician experience

  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills (required)

  • Experience working on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles

  • ASE certifications STRONGLY PREFERRED

  • State Repair Certifications are REQUIRED

  • Comfortable using advanced diagnostic equipment and shop management systems

  • Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
