Location: Malone, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday 8am–6pm, Saturday 8am–4pm (Closed Sundays)
Pay: $28–$30/hr Flat Rate + Production Bonuses
Earning Potential: $100,000+ annually

Position Summary

Promotive is hiring an experienced A Level Automotive Technician for a busy, high-producing shop in Malone, NY. This is a full-time flat-rate role with strong production bonuses and six-figure earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair domestic and light-duty diesel vehicles, including Ford F-250+ platforms

  • Perform bumper-to-bumper repairs including engine, suspension, steering, brakes, and drivetrain

  • Complete advanced diagnostics using Snap-On, IDS, ShopKey, and other modern scan tools

  • Conduct digital vehicle inspections (DVI) using a multipoint inspection system

  • Accurately document findings and recommended repairs

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

  • Collaborate with service advisors and teammates to maximize workflow and flagged hours

  • Uphold high standards for quality, efficiency, and accountability

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as an A Level or Master Automotive Technician

  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

  • Experience working on gas and light/medium-duty diesel trucks (Ford F-250+)

  • ASE certifications preferred (not required)

  • State inspection license or ability to obtain shortly after hire

  • Proficient with diagnostic scanners and digital inspection software

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen

Compensation & Pay Structure

  • Flat Rate: $28–$30 per flagged hour

  • Average Flagged Hours: 40–70+ per week

  • Production bonuses — turn more hours, earn more income

  • Weekly pay
