Schedule: Monday–Saturday (5-day work week)
Pay: $32.00 – $40.00 per hour (Flat Rate, based on experience)

Position Summary

Promotive is hiring an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician for a well-established, family-run repair operation in Pasadena, MD that has been serving the community since 1956.

This is a full-time, flat-rate opportunity for a skilled automotive technician who thrives on diagnostics, takes pride in doing the job right the first time, and wants to be part of a supportive, tight-knit team. Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems including engine performance, suspension, brakes, exhaust, and electrical

  • Perform advanced diagnostics using modern scan tools and testing equipment

  • Complete repairs efficiently and accurately according to industry standards

  • Communicate findings clearly with service advisors and team members

  • Mentor and support junior technicians when needed

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

  • Follow proper repair procedures and prioritize quality workmanship

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience as an Automotive Technician

  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across multiple vehicle systems

  • Experience with shop equipment including lifts, welders, and diagnostic scanners

  • ASE Certifications preferred (reimbursement available)

  • Leadership or mentoring experience is a strong plus

  • Own tools required

  • Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
