Position Summary
Promotive is hiring an experienced Master / A Level Automotive Technician for a busy, family-owned dealership and service operation in Myrtle Beach, SC. This role is ideal for a technician who thrives on diagnostics, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants consistent weekday hours with strong earning potential.
This shop operates both a dealership service department and a recon center, servicing a wide mix of domestic, Asian, and European vehicles. Technicians enjoy a collaborative team environment, steady vehicle flow, and leadership that is actively involved in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on a wide variety of vehicles
- Repair and service major automotive systems including engines, brakes, suspension, steering, and drivetrains
- Use professional diagnostic tools such as Autel and Snap-On scan tools
- Complete thorough vehicle inspections and accurately document repair recommendations
- Work closely with the service advisor to ensure efficient workflow and clear communication
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow manufacturer and industry repair standards to ensure quality workmanship
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician or Master Technician
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience working on domestic and Asian vehicles
- ASE certifications preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Compensation & Benefits
- Flat Rate Pay: $38–$50/hr depending on experience
