Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Range Depending on Experience: $38.00 – $50.00+ per hour Flat or Hourly 
Pay Type: Hourly or Flat Rate (Weekly Pay)

Position Summary

Promotive is hiring an experienced Master Automotive Technician for a well-established, family-owned repair shop in Benson, NC. This is a high-impact role for a true diagnostic professional who thrives on solving complex electrical and drivability issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on electrical and drivability concerns
  • Diagnose and repair all makes and models (domestic, Asian, and some European vehicles)
  • Complete brake, suspension, and drivetrain repairs with accuracy and efficiency
  • Utilize modern scan tools (Autel, Snap-On, Matco, Launch) and digital vehicle inspections
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members regarding repair needs
  • Maintain detailed documentation using shop management systems (Tekmetric)
  • Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and is completed right the first time
  • Keep a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience as an automotive technician (Master/A-Level preferred)
  • Strong diagnostic skills, especially in electrical and drivability systems
  • ASE certifications preferred
  • Independent shop experience strongly preferred
  • Proficient with diagnostic tools and modern shop technology
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license (clean record required)
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

Compensation & Benefits

  • $80,000 – $120,000+ annual earning potential
  • $38.00 – $50.00+ Hourly or Flat (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)
  • Hourly or flat rate pay structure (based on experience)
