Automotive Technician A or B+ Level
Location: Charlotte, NC
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $25 – $40/hr Flat Rate (Based on Experience)
Pay Schedule: Weekly

Position Summary
Promotive is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician (A or strong B-Level) for a well-established, NAPA Auto Care Center in Charlotte, NC. This is a Monday–Friday position—no weekends ever—with weekly pay, training opportunities, and a laid-back, tech-led culture. Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles (Domestic 50%, Euro 25%, Asian 25%)

Perform mechanical work including brakes, suspension, and drivability issues

Troubleshoot Check Engine Light and drivability concerns (especially for B-Tech level)

Use diagnostic tools and follow ASE-certified repair methods

Complete digital inspections and communicate clearly with the service team

Keep your bay clean and organized and maintain a professional work environment

Participate in ongoing training through NAPA or WorldPac (covered by the shop)
What We’re Looking For

4+ years of experience as an automotive technician

Strong B-Level or A-Level experience preferred

Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

ASE certifications are a plus, but not required

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Positive, team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
