Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay: $30 – $40/hr (Hourly + Weekly Bonus Structure)
Average Weekly Hours Turned: 40–50+
Annual Earning Potential: ~$80,000

Position Summary

Promotive is hiring experienced A or B Level Automotive Technicians for a trusted, locally owned shop in Clover, SC. This is a full-time, weekday-only role with weekly bonuses, paid time off, and a supportive family-style work culture. The shop is well-known in the community and led by Clover locals who value transparency, integrity, and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate diagnostics and repairs on domestic, Asian, and occasional European vehicles

  • Handle brake, steering, and suspension work (B-Level Techs)

  • Complete heavy diagnostics and check engine light repairs (A-Level Techs)

  • Execute Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) via TekMetric

  • Communicate clearly with the front office and collaborate with teammates

  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment

  • Deliver honest, transparent service that builds customer trust

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician 

  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to work independently and flag 40+ hours per week

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Must pass a background check and drug screen

  • ASE certifications are a plus but not required

  • Must have own tools and be comfortable using Autel and Snap-On scan tools

Compensation & Bonus Structure

  • Hourly Pay: $30–$40/hr (based on skill and experience)
