Position Summary

Promotive is hiring a seasoned A-Level Automotive Technician with diagnostic and diesel skills for a well-equipped, high-volume shop in Sylvester, GA. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday role with flat rate pay up to $42/hr, a strong benefits package, and relocation support for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair gas and diesel vehicles using modern scan tools and repair methods
  • Handle drivability issues, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting
  • Complete brake, suspension, and drivetrain work on domestic and Asian makes
  • Perform thorough digital vehicle inspections (DVI) via Tekmetric
  • Collaborate with service advisors to ensure accurate estimates and repairs
  • Maintain a clean, organized bay and take pride in your work
  • Engage in paid training and certification opportunities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience as an automotive technician (A or strong B-level)
  • Strong diagnostic and drivability capabilities
  • Diesel experience preferred but not required
  • ASE certifications a plus (or willingness to earn them – we’ll help!)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
