Schedule: Monday to Friday (8am–6pm Mon–Thurs, 8am–5pm Fri) – NO WEEKENDS!
Pay Range: $33 – $42/hr Flat Rate
Annual Earning Potential: $80K–$100K+

Position Summary

Promotive is hiring a skilled A or B+ Level Automotive Technician for a top-rated European-focused shop in Marietta, GA. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position in a clean, well-equipped, and air-conditioned facility that specializes in Volvo and other European vehicles. You’ll work alongside a strong technical team with access to dealer-level diagnostic tools, productivity bonuses, and ongoing paid training. No weekends — ever.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair drivability and electrical issues using advanced scan tools (Autel, Snap-On, VIDA)

  • Perform brake, suspension, and steering repairs on European, Asian, and Domestic vehicles

  • Complete engine and transmission R&R (no internal engine / trans. rebuilds)

  • Conduct DVIs using Tekmetric and collaborate with the front office for accurate estimates

  • Maintain a clean, professional work environment

  • Uphold safety standards and follow shop procedures

  • Communicate effectively with team members and management

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on professional (in shop) experience

  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex drivability and electrical concerns

  • ASE certifications preferred (not required)

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Must pass a background check and drug screen

Compensation & Benefits

  • Flat rate pay: $33–$42/hr, depending on experience
