Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $25 – $40/hr (Flat Rate, depending on experience)
Average Flagged Hours/Week: 40–50+ (HIGH Car Count to Turn Hours)
Pay Schedule: Weekly

Position Summary

Promotive is now hiring an A-Level or strong B-Level Automotive Technician for one of Richmond’s most respected independent shops! With over 25 years of trust in the local community, this shop has earned a reputation for honesty, quality, and keeping techs busy with consistent car count. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday only role with flat-rate pay up to $40/hr (depending on skills and experience), modern tools, strong benefits, and no weekend hours — ever.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on Asian makes (Honda, Toyota, Acura, Lexus)

  • Execute high-quality repairs efficiently while flagging 10+ hours/day (plenty of cars to turn hours!)

  • Contribute to a productive team environment and communicate clearly with Service Advisors

  • Perform state inspections and have VA state inspection license REQUIRED

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a professional shop setting

  • Strong diagnostic skills with Asian vehicles (especially Honda/Toyota platforms)

  • State Inspection License (or the ability to obtain one)

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Background check and pre-employment drug screen required

  • Ability to work independently with consistent productivity

  • Prior dealership experience (especially Asian OEM) is a plus

Compensation & Benefits
