Established Automotive Shop in Gloucester, Ma seeking an experienced Automotive Technician (B Level)! Candidates need to have a strong work ethic, capable of a multitude of duties ranging from routine repairs and maintenance to diesel work. Experience with diesel engines is preferred not required. Candidates must have their own tools, be detail oriented, a team player and also able to work independently, maintain a low comeback ratio.

Job Details

• Some diagnostics required
• Must be willing to repair a vehicle start to finish – oil changes included!
• Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices.
• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions.
• Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined, including belts, hoses, steering systems, spark plugs, brake and fuel systems, wheel bearings, and other potentially troublesome areas.
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups.
• Repair and service air conditioning, heating, engine-cooling, and electrical systems.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturers’ performance specifications.
