Location: Mount Pleasant, SC
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Pay Range: $19 – $25/hr Depending on Experience (Hourly + 5 hrs/week OT)
Pay Schedule: Weekly

Position Summary

Promotive is hiring a B-Level Automotive Technician for a high-performing, locally trusted shop in Mount Pleasant, SC. With a 30+ year legacy and a team of certified professionals, this shop handles everything from routine maintenance to advanced diagnostics on a wide range of Domestic and Asian vehicles. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday opportunity for a tech who takes pride in their work, wants to grow, and values team culture over egos and politics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quality repairs and maintenance on Domestic and Asian vehicles

  • Handle brake, steering, suspension, and general mechanical repairs

  • Support team productivity and maintain consistent workflow

  • Use diagnostic tools (Autel, Zeus, IDS, FDRS, ATS scope) and follow DVI best practices

  • Maintain a clean, professional workspace and strong attention to detail

  • Collaborate with teammates and service advisors to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Attend occasional team outings and trainings as part of a close-knit shop culture

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional automotive repair experience (independent shop experience preferred)

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to grow into diagnostics

  • ASE certifications preferred — shop will help you earn and maintain them

  • Positive attitude, self-starter, and strong communication skills

  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Must be able to pass a drug test

Compensation & Pay Structure

  • Hourly Pay: $19 – $25/hr depending on experience

  • 5 hours of overtime per week available

  • Weekly pay
