Location: Furlong, PA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay: $24.00 – $34.00 (depending on experience)
Pay Structure: Hybrid – 40-hour guarantee with production-based earnings over 40 hours
Pay Schedule: Weekly

Position Summary

Promotive is hiring a B Level or STRONG C Level Automotive Technician for a well-established independent repair shop in Furlong, PA. This full-time role is ideal for a technician with a few years of professional experience who enjoys working on a wide variety of vehicles and wants to continue growing their diagnostic and repair skills.

This shop services domestic, Asian, and European vehicles and maintains a steady workflow with 80–100 cars per week, providing technicians consistent opportunities to turn hours. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform automotive diagnostics and repairs on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles

  • Complete brake, suspension, steering, and general mechanical repairs

  • Conduct vehicle inspections and document findings using digital vehicle inspections (DVI)

  • Assist with light diagnostic work and troubleshooting vehicle issues

  • Perform routine maintenance services including fluid services and preventive maintenance

  • Communicate findings clearly with team members to support efficient workflow

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

  • Follow ASE standards and manufacturer service procedures when completing repairs

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of professional shop experience as an automotive technician

  • Experience working in a dealership or independent repair shop

  • Ability to perform brakes, suspension, steering, and general mechanical repairs independently

  • Light diagnostic skills and willingness to continue learning diagnostics

  • ASE certifications preferred but not required

  • Pennsylvania State Inspection and Emissions licenses preferred (or willingness to obtain quickly after hire)

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

  • Positive attitude and strong team mentality

Compensation & Benefits

  • $24.00 – $34.00 per hour Depending on Experience 

  • Hybrid pay structure with 40-hour guaranteed pay
