Position Summary

Promotive is hiring an experienced European A-Level or Master Automotive Technician for a top-performing independent shop in Frederick, MD. This is a Monday–Friday role with a consistent workflow, zero weekends, and flat rate pay at $45–$50/hr, depending on experience. Top techs are earning $90,000+ annually.

This shop tackles the full spectrum of repair work—from light maintenance to deep-dive diagnostics on tough Euro diesels. You’ll work alongside a skilled crew in a well-equipped, heated facility that values quality, resourcefulness, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of complex issues on European vehicles (VW, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Sprinter)

  • Perform major diesel work including cylinder heads, fuel injectors, DEF systems, and more

  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently

  • Complete diesel service and routine maintenance with minimal supervision

  • Use advanced diagnostic tools such as Autel and Launch, and manage workflow through AutoLeap software

  • Maintain a clean, professional workspace and uphold shop standards

  • Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction

  • Strong diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting skills

  • Able to work independently and manage repairs from start to finish
