Location: Mount Pleasant, SC
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Earning Potential: $80,000 – $110,000+ annually (Depending on Experience / Skills)
Pay Type: Hourly or Hybrid (Hourly + Flat-Rate Bonus)
Pay Schedule: Weekly

Position Summary

Promotive is in search of a skilled Shop Foreman / Lead Diagnostic Technician for a trusted, high-performing shop in Mount Pleasant, SC. This is a working foreman position for a master-level tech who enjoys diagnostics, mentoring others, and taking a leadership role in a close-knit, community-focused shop. You’ll guide workflow, coach teammates, and solve challenging repair issues — all while earning strong pay and maintaining work-life balance with no weekend hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage shop workflow and bay operations

  • Perform high-level diagnostics across Domestic, Asian, and some Euro vehicles

  • Support and mentor B and C level technicians in best practices and efficiency

  • Collaborate closely with the owner and service advisor to maintain smooth operations

  • Assist in coaching, shop communication, and team development

  • Ensure high-quality standards and timely completion of repairs

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician

  • Strong background in diagnostics and problem-solving

  • Independent shop experience highly preferred

  • ASE Certifications preferred (support provided for completion)

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Must be drug-free and able to pass a background check

Compensation & Benefits

  • Earnings: $80,000 – $110,000+ per year

  • Pay Structure:

    • Guaranteed 40 hours at an hourly rate ($40 – $50+ Depending on Experience)

    • OR hybrid model with flat-rate incentive above 40 billed hours

    • Open to customizing based on candidate preference
