Job Description
Automotive shop in Bakersfield, CA seeking an experienced Automotive Technician (A Level or ASE Master Technician) to join a great team! This full service shop does it all! They are the go-to for automotive services in Bakersfield. This shop believes in transparency and communication and have build their business on those principles. They stand behind their work 100% and take full responsibility to ensure customer vehicle’s operate at their best. This shop is a NAPA Auto Care Center Repair Facility providing exceptional automotive repairs with quality NAPA Auto Parts.
What they are looking for:
- 5+ Years of Experience
- Ability to turn 40+ hours per week is required
- Strives to turn the most hours possible & achieve next production bonus pay incentive
- Experience with all makes / models
- Proficient in Drivability and Electrical Diagnostics
- ASE Certifications Preferred – Must be able to obtain additional certifications to achieve ASE Master Tech level within 12 months of employment
- ASE Certification Incentives
- Have or willing to certify with the 609 for A/C work
- Basic understanding of mechanical fundamentals & working knowledge of electrical systems.
- Able to self-diagnose most customer complaints received from the primary supervisor.
- Clean personal work habits and ethics.
- Respectable communication skills.
- A+ work ethic.
- Accustomed to working with strict time constraints/book time.
- Must have a valid CA driver’s license. Must be able to pass a drug screen.
- Mindset and attitude is everything at this shop, must be team player and have a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow skills
- A DRIVEN ATTITUDE is required; striving for their best in productivity
