Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $46 – $55/hr (Flat Rate) – Depending on Experience
Pay Schedule: Weekly

Position Summary

Promotive is hiring a highly skilled European Shop Foreman / Master Automotive Technician for a well-established, high-performing independent shop in St. Petersburg, FL. This is a hands-on leadership role for a diagnostic expert who thrives on solving complex issues and mentoring other technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on European vehicles (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, VW, Porsche, Land Rover, Jaguar)
• Sprinter and Mini experience also a PLUS!
• Lead and mentor technicians, providing guidance on complex diagnostic and electrical issues
• Oversee workflow and support shop productivity and efficiency
• Utilize factory-level scan tools and diagnostic equipment for accurate troubleshooting
• Complete repairs across engine, transmission, drivability, electrical, suspension, and HVAC systems
• Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and customer satisfaction goals
• Collaborate with service advisors to communicate repair needs and timelines
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician, with strong European vehicle experience
• Proven diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting expertise
• Experience with brands such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, VW, Porsche, Land Rover, or Jaguar
• Prior leadership or foreman experience preferred
• ASE certifications preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of modern diagnostic tools and vehicle systems
• Valid driver’s license (required)
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Compensation & Benefits

• Flat rate pay: $46 – $55/hr depending on experience
