A or B Level European Automotive Technician – Albany, CA

Monday–Friday | $35–$50/hr (Hourly, NOT Flat Rate) | No Weekends | European Experience Required

This isn’t your average tech position. This is for the technician who knows their way around a BMW or Benz like the back of their hand. A seasoned problem-solver. A code whisperer. A well-established European shop in Albany, CA is looking to add an A-Level Technician (8–10+ years experience) or a strong B-Level Technician (3+ years experience) to their crew. If you’re confident, capable, and ready to dive into diagnostics without needing hand-holding, this one’s for you.

What You’ll Get

  • Top-tier hourly pay:

    • A Level: $40–$50/hr

    • B Level: $35–$40/hr
      (No flat rate. No production bonuses. Just steady pay for solid work.)

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    No weekends. Ever.

Who You Are

A-Level Techs:
You’ve spent nearly a decade under the hood of European vehicles. You’re confident with diagnostics and electronic systems. You don’t just change parts — you fix the problem. You thrive independently but know how to collaborate when needed.

B-Level Techs:
You’ve got at least three solid years of experience, preferably with BMW, MINI, Mercedes, or Fiat. You’re comfortable with general repairs and have dabbled in diagnostics — you’re hungry to keep learning. You show up on time, take pride in your work, and want to grow into an A-Level role.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform diagnostics and full-spectrum repairs on European makes

  • Handle mechanical repairs — suspension, brakes, fluid exchanges, starters, etc.

  • Collaborate with advisors and techs to keep workflow smooth

  • Maintain clean workspaces and a safe, efficient environment

  • Represent the shop’s gold-standard customer service and repair quality

 

What We’re Not Looking For

  • Techs who need constant oversight — this is a role for confident, capable pros

  • Generalists without Euro experience — this shop is 98% European car volume
