Job Description

Award winning automotive shop in Union City, CA seeking an experienced Automotive General Manager! This automotive shop group started with a passion for cars and a vision to help educate people on their vehicles. Job details:

  • Managing a team of technicians and service advisors
  • 5+ years of experience as a general manager at a high volume shop required
  • Understanding of shop efficiency, productivity to labor rate etc. and have a clear understanding of how it all relates to the financial statements.
  • Must be an excellent relationship builder
  • Strong sales background
  • Responsible for:
  • Car count
  • Gross Profit
  • Average rate of repair order
  • Profit %
  • Labor cost controls
  • Discounts
  • Employee engagement and culture

 

What they are looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in high volume automotive shop – strongly prefer independent automotive experience
  • Understanding of shop efficiency, productivity to labor rate etc. and have a clear understanding of how it all relates to the financial statements.
