Job Description
Truck Repair shop in Bakersfield, CA seeking an experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to join a great team! This full service shop does it all! They are the go-to for fleet services in Bakersfield. This shop believes in transparency and communication and have build their business on those principles. They stand behind their work 100% and take full responsibility to ensure customer fleets operate at their best. This shop is a NAPA Truck Service Center Repair Facility providing both on-site fleet maintenance and road-side assistance on all types of equipment.

Candidates will performs preventive maintenance inspection, troubleshoots, repairs, and rebuilds major components on all types of equipment. Ensures accurate diagnosis and effective repair and or replacement of components.
Mobile diesel / HD repairs, will be in mobile service truck Monday – Friday.
What they are looking for:
- 5+ years experience
- Experience with trucks from class 3 to class 8 diesel trucks.
- Candidate will have ability to learn additional classes of trucks as long as they have experience with at least one class.
- Have or willing to certify to be able to complete inspections and work for the state
- Have or willing to certify with the 609 for A/C work
- Basic understanding of mechanical fundamentals & working knowledge of electrical systems.
- Perform all types of maintenance and repairs on all types of over-the-road and off-highway equipment.
- Basic understanding of Scanners.
- Able to self-diagnose most customer complaints received from the primary supervisor.
- Clean personal work habits and ethics.
- Respectable communication skills.
- A+ work ethic.
- Accustomed to working with strict time constraints/book time.
- Must have a valid CA driver’s license – CLEAN DRIVING RECORD REQUIRED
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
