Prepare for Your Automotive Technician Job Interview

Congratulations – you got the interview! Here are a few pointers that will help you prepare for you automotive technician job interview.

 

  • Research the shop/company

    Before the interview, research the company you are applying to. Look up their products, services, and values so that you understand their business and can speak to their needs as an automotive technician.

 

  • Review your resume

    Review your resume to make sure that you can effectively communicate your skills and experiences. Prepare clear examples to support your claims.

 

  • Know what they are looking for in an automotive technician

    Review the job description carefully to understand what the employer is looking for. Make a list of the requirements and desired skills, and then make sure you can speak to each of them during the interview.
