Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Diesel / Road Service Technician to join our growing team. This role involves working in the shop and handling mobile service/road calls. The ideal candidate has strong diesel repair experience, takes initiative, and thrives in both independent and team environments.
Responsibilities

Perform in-shop and roadside repairs on a wide variety of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment

When you are not out on the road, you will be in the shop working on diesels!

Handle scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency service calls

Diagnose and repair diesel engines, aftertreatment systems, emissions systems, and other critical components

Partner with the service team to ensure quick turnaround and high-quality workmanship

Rotate on-call schedule for afterhours and weekend support (no tire repairs roadside)

Document work performed accurately and in a timely manner using shop systems
Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of experience as a B-Level Technician (diesel experience required)

Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, trailers, and related systems

Road service experience a plus

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Valid driver’s license with a clean record

Ability to work independently in roadside situations as well as in a shop environment
Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $25 – $50/hour depending on experience

Hours: 7am – 5pm & Rotating On Call

Weekly Car Count: 100–150

Shop: 11 bays with full lifts, Hunter alignment rack, advanced scan tools, and shop management software

Average Technician Hours: 40+ per week
