Automotive General Service Technician- Brentwood, TN

Hourly Pay $19-24/hr with earning potential of $40k to $50k (Depending on Experience)

Monday – Friday (Up to 50 hours a week)

Job Requirements:

• 2+ Years in the Automotive Repair industry
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must be willing to grow and learn in the position
• Self-starter
• Must be willing to go through training

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain shop cleanliness / appearance – primarily in the bays and exterior
• Support the experienced technicians to learn from them and maximize their productivity
• Complete defined online training courses as required
• Move vehicles into / out of the bays; safely rack and un-rack vehicles
• Upkeep with the shop and keeping it clean
• Perform vehicle test drives – initial and after service
• Perform complimentary/comprehensive vehicle inspections (CVI) – performed digitally on a tablet
• Capable to perform the following services immediately
• Oil/filter change, changing out batteries, tire rotations, R&R engine / cabin air filter, R&R wiper blades
• Complete training to be able to perform all fluid maintenance services w/I 3 – 6 months
• Coolant/anti-freeze, brake fluid, power steering fluid, differential/transfer case fluid, fuel system cleaning
• Desire to earn initial ASE Certifications as soon as feasible
