The Opportunity
This growing automotive group is expanding fast and needs two A-level diagnostic technicians to join their high-performance team in Grants, New Mexico. The shops are busy, modern, and well-equipped, offering the chance to work on challenging diagnostics while helping elevate overall shop performance.

What You’ll Do

Diagnose and repair advanced electrical and mechanical issues (CAN bus, module programming, etc.)

Deliver consistent production: 40–45 flag hours per week

Collaborate with a motivated team

Contribute to process improvement and mentor younger techs

Help shape the culture of a growing, forward-thinking shop group
What It Takes

5–7 years of professional experience as a diagnostic or master-level technician
-
8/10+ electrical diagnostic proficiency

Strong problem-solving mindset and pride in efficiency
-
“Fair” diesel skill level is fine—no cab-off jobs required
Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay: $22/hour (paid if flag hours fall short)

Flat Rate: $40–$50/hour for A-level techs; up to $55/hour for master-level techs

On-Target Earnings: $70K–$85K annually for top producers

Each A-level tech has a path toward becoming a shop manager as the group grows toward its goal of 20 locations in the next four years.
