About the Role

A highly respected independent automotive repair and collision group in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking an A-Level European Automotive Technician to join their elite team.

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who excels in diagnostics, routine maintenance, and complex repairs. The shop prioritizes quality workmanship, efficiency, and long-term technician success while providing the tools, workflow, and support needed to thrive.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform routine maintenance, including oil services, brakes, and inspections

  • Conduct advanced diagnostics on European vehicles (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, VW, Porsche, and more)

  • Diagnose and repair engine performance, drivability, electrical, and network issues

  • Complete complex mechanical repairs, including engine and transmission work

  • Provide accurate repair recommendations with detailed documentation

  • Collaborate with experienced service advisors and fellow technicians to maintain efficient workflow

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

  • Stay current with evolving automotive technology through ongoing training

What We’re Looking For

  • A-Level Technician with strong European vehicle experience

  • 3+ years of professional automotive repair experience, with a focus on European vehicles (VW experience preferred)

  • 5+ years of professional automotive experience

  • Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi experience strongly preferred

  • Japanese and domestic vehicle experience is a plus

  • Advanced diagnostic, electrical, and drivability skills

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Professional mindset with pride in workmanship and accountability

  • Valid California Driver’s License

Compensation

  • $100,000 base + performance bonus structure

  • $140,000–$160,000+ total annual earning potential
