$25 – $40/hr (Based on Experience)

A well-established and growing independent repair shop in Belvidere, IL is looking for an experienced A or B Level Automotive Technician to join their team. This shop stays busy with a steady mix of engine repair, brakes, steering & suspension, along with growing work in EV vehicles including Tesla.

This is a great opportunity for a technician who wants consistent work, modern equipment, and a team-focused shop that values quality repairs.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform diagnostics and general repair work

  • Engine repair and mechanical repairs

  • Brakes, steering, suspension, and cooling system repairs

  • Assist with or perform engine and transmission R&R

  • Work on EV vehicles including Tesla (training provided)

  • Complete quality repairs and inspections

What They’re Looking For

  • 5+ years automotive technician experience

  • Strong mechanical repair ability

  • Some diagnostic experience

  • Interest in EV / hybrid technology

  • European vehicle experience is a plus

  • ASE certifications are a plus

  • Positive attitude and team mindset

  • Valid driver’s license
