Position Summary
Promotive is hiring an experienced Automotive Transmission Technician for a highly respected shop in Broken Arrow, OK. This is a full-time opportunity for an A or strong B level technician who knows transmissions, enjoys transmission work, and wants to be in a shop built for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform transmission removal and replacement (R&R) work with accuracy and efficiency
- Diagnose and repair transmission-related concerns on customer vehicles
- Complete digital vehicle inspections (DVI) and document findings clearly
- Identify related drivability or performance issues tied to transmission systems
- Work closely with teammates to keep repairs moving efficiently through the shop
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
- Follow shop processes, safety standards, and quality expectations
- Deliver high-quality workmanship that supports long-term customer trust
Qualifications
5+ years of automotive technician experience
- Strong hands-on transmission experience required
- A-Level Technician or strong B-Level Technician background preferred
- Dealership experience or heavy line experience is a plus
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability related to transmission systems
- Experience performing DVI inspections preferred
- Dependable, accountable, and able to produce consistent quality work
- Team-oriented attitude with a professional approach to the job
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
