Lisa Coyle is an award-winning entrepreneur and executive leader with more than 15 years of experience building and scaling companies across the automotive, payments, and technology sectors. As CEO and Co-Founder of Promotive, she has grown the company from concept to industry force—tripling revenue year-over-year, doubling the customer base, and scaling the team, all while redefining how independent repair shops find and hire top talent.
Before launching Promotive, Lisa co-founded 360 Payments, scaling it to $8B+ in processing volume and $40M+ in revenue. She later served as EVP of Aftermarket and Payments at Vehlo, where she led 10+ company integrations and played a pivotal role in two private equity recapitalizations. Her leadership philosophy blends operational excellence with bold vision, grit, and a strong focus on culture.
Lisa is also an active angel investor, advisor, and mentor, passionate about supporting emerging entrepreneurs. Kat is a Technology and Operations Executive with two decades of experience across Fintech, Information Technology, Private Equity, and Cloud-based software. She is responsible for all aspects of Promotive operations including HR, Finance, Product, Technology, and Back-office systems and strategy.
Kat has held COO roles at multiple tech start-ups and her career includes leading Global Digital Transformation during her tenure at Blackbaud. Kat joined the Automotive Aftermarket Industry when she joined Vehlo, a GSV Company, leading M&A Integration activities and business process standardization across the portfolio, helping drive two successful exits in three years. She holds a BS from Clemson in Business Administration
Kelly Cavanaugh
Kelly joined Promotive in 2023 as the VP of Recruiting. With over 20 years of staffing experience across a variety of industries, she brings exceptional recruiting service & transformational leadership to the team.
Kelly has proven experience growing organizations and individuals from the ground up, managing teams both domestically and internationally. Her operational strengths center around project & change management with an emphasis on system and process improvement. Stacey Black
Stacey brings over 25 years of sales and management experience to her role at Promotive, with a strong foundation in the automotive aftermarket. She spent several years with NAPA, serving as a Wholesale Manager across Texas, Louisiana, Indiana, and Kentucky, and earlier as a Retail Business Development Manager supporting shops in Houston, San Antonio, and Austin. Stacey also spent time on the ISO side of the business and led retail operations as a District Manager for Hallmark for two decades.
At Promotive, Stacey is passionate about helping shops succeed by connecting them with the right talent and building lasting partnerships rooted in trust, hustle, and a whole lot of heart. She thrives on competition, loves the thrill of a deal, and is always up for a good challenge.

Brian Burris
Brian brings over a decade of experience in the automotive aftermarket to his role as an Account Manager at Promotive. He spent 13 years with NAPA Auto Parts in various leadership roles, including District Manager in Houston and Area and Store Manager in Atlanta. He also held service leadership positions at Christian Brothers Automotive and Tires Plus Total Car Care, giving him firsthand insight into both shop operations and customer needs.
At Promotive, Brian partners with independent repair shops to ensure they’re not just hiring—but hiring the right people. He’s passionate about helping shop owners grow their teams with intention, and he approaches every relationship with integrity, energy, and a strong sense of purpose.
Outside of work, Brian is a proud dad of three and an adrenaline junkie who loves kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, and scuba diving. He’s also a die-hard fan of UGA Football and Braves Baseball. Sam Freeman brings over two decades of experience in the automotive aftermarket to her role as Partner Manager at Promotive. She’s held leadership roles at MechanicNet and later at AutoServe1, where she led enterprise accounts and managed strategic partnerships—including a key relationship with NAPA AutoCare that earned national recognition. Sam’s work contributed to NAPA naming AutoServe1 its Strategic Partner of the Year in 2021.

With a degree in Business Management and Human Resources from Saint Cloud State, Danny got his start in recruiting with Volt Workforce Solutions and spent over two years helping businesses connect with top-tier talent. He also brings experience from the world of sports marketing, having worked with the Minnesota Vikings, Twins, and Timberwolves in fan engagement roles.

From managing hiring and events at Carrabba’s to serving as Director of Sales for Expert Productions and Customer Relations Manager at Seat Engine Ticketing, Katelyn has spent her career connecting people and delivering exceptional experiences.

Khloe Dickerson
After attending flight attendant school for United Airlines in Salt Lake City, Khloe unexpectedly found her way into project management, where she developed a love for structure, process, and teamwork. She later earned her Scrum certification and transitioned into recruiting, discovering a real passion for connecting people with opportunities that help them grow.

After several years growing in the field, she joined Bear Mountain as a recruiter in 2024 before making the move to Promotive.
Originally from Agawam, MA and now based in Enfield, Connecticut, Alexandra lives with her husband, son, daughter, and a lively crew of three dogs and two cats. Shannin Pierce
Shannin brings over 15 years of recruiting experience to Promotive, with a background that spans both healthcare and automotive technology. Before joining the team, she recruited top nursing talent nationwide and worked in various roles at Vehlo, including Sales Development, Training, and Culture Leadership—earning the title of Culture Chief in 2022. After several months of our own aggressive recruiting efforts and disappointing results, we decided to partner with ProMotive! Working with ProMotive to hire an experienced Auto Tech was the smartest decision for our small shop! I have over 20 yrs in corporate recruiting and healthcare staffing, and have several experienced recruiters in my network; therefore, I felt we could easily take on a search for one Auto Tech. In this market and the shortage of Techs, we found it difficult to move beyond the unemployed job hoppers. Searching job boards will not deliver the solid, A-level candidate even with the best key word search. Bottom line – stick with the industry experts who have the resources to dive deep and find talented, competent, and passive candidates.
We were immediately pleased with the caliber of candidates submitted and hired an A level Tech within the first week.
