Automotive Technician (A or B-Level)

Full-Time • Salinas, CA • Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm

We are a well-established independent shop in Salina that has been serving the community for 7 years. We’re growing fast and looking to add an A-level or strong B-level Technician who can handle start-to-finish work, light diagnostics, and maintain high productivity. What You’ll Do

• Perform accurate and efficient diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs

• Complete start-to-finish jobs independently

• Handle light to moderate diagnostic work using OEM software and advanced scan tools

• Work on a mix of Domestic trucks (60%), Asian (20%), and European vehicles (20%)

• Maintain high-quality standards and productivity

• Communicate clearly with the service team

• Follow shop processes for DVI and repair documentation via Tekmetric

What We’re Looking For

• A-level or strong B-level technician

• 8+ years of experience preferred

• Dealership background strongly preferred

• Ability to produce consistently (avg. 50 hours/week in our current setup)

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills

• Positive, trainable attitude and strong work ethic

• Team-focused personality that fits a high-expectation, growth-oriented shop

What We Offer

• Hybrid pay structure:

  • $35/hr base

  • $20–$30 hourly production bonus

• Annual earning potential: ~$100,000
