We’re looking for a top-tier A-Level Technician ready to lead. This is a hands-on opportunity to step into a Lead Tech / Shop Foreman / Working Shop Manager role where you’ll drive shop performance while still doing what you do best—diagnosing and fixing complex vehicles.

What You’ll Be Doing

Technical Leadership

• Perform advanced diagnostics (electrical, drivability, CAN systems)
• Handle complex repairs:
  • Engine performance & internal work
  • Transmission & driveline systems
  • HVAC & climate control
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and OEM data
• Utilize lab scopes and advanced diagnostic tools
• Ensure first-time fix accuracy and minimize comebacks
• Complete thorough DVIs

Team Leadership

• Help manage daily shop workflow and productivity
• Assist with dispatching and prioritizing work
• Mentor and develop B- and C-level technicians
• Support advisors with technical insight
• Perform quality control checks
• Maintain shop organization, efficiency, and safety
• Help drive key metrics (hours, ARO, CSI)

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of automotive technician experience
• Proven A-Level / Master diagnostic ability
• Strong electrical and drivability expertise
• Experience mentoring or leading other technicians
• Ability to balance production with leadership responsibilities
• Michigan State License required
• Independent or dealership background

Preferred Certifications

• ASE Master Technician
• L1 Advanced Engine Performance (strongly preferred)
• OEM certifications are a plus
