Automotive Customer Service Representative

Location: North Chesterfield, VA
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (No Weekends)
Pay: $18–$25/hour, based on experience

Qualifications

  • Automotive industry experience required
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Customer Service Representative, Receptionist, Cashier, or Administrative Assistant preferred
  • Strong communication, customer service, and phone skills
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and scheduling software
  • Experience with Tekmetric or other shop management software is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Able to handle customer concerns calmly and professionally

Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our growing independent automotive repair shop. As the first point of contact for customers, you’ll help create an exceptional experience while supporting daily front-office operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide a welcoming experience
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with customer inquiries
  • Process payments and close repair orders accurately
  • Maintain customer records, filing, scanning, and documentation
  • Assist with warranty paperwork and customer communications
  • Balance daily receipts and payment records
  • Follow up with customers regarding service satisfaction
  • Support service advisors, technicians, and management with administrative tasks
  • Help maintain a clean and organized customer waiting area
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist wherever needed
