Automotive Customer Service Representative
Location: North Chesterfield, VA
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (No Weekends)
Pay: $18–$25/hour, based on experience
Qualifications
- Automotive industry experience required
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Customer Service Representative, Receptionist, Cashier, or Administrative Assistant preferred
- Strong communication, customer service, and phone skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and scheduling software
- Experience with Tekmetric or other shop management software is a plus
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Able to handle customer concerns calmly and professionally
Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our growing independent automotive repair shop. As the first point of contact for customers, you’ll help create an exceptional experience while supporting daily front-office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide a welcoming experience
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with customer inquiries
- Process payments and close repair orders accurately
- Maintain customer records, filing, scanning, and documentation
- Assist with warranty paperwork and customer communications
- Balance daily receipts and payment records
- Follow up with customers regarding service satisfaction
- Support service advisors, technicians, and management with administrative tasks
- Help maintain a clean and organized customer waiting area
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist wherever needed
