Overview

We are a well-established auto and truck repair shop specializing in light-duty, medium-duty, and heavy-duty vehicles. Our shop is equipped with 11 bays, a Hunter alignment rack, advanced scan tools, digital vehicle inspection technology, and a strong support system of foremen and experienced technicians. Position: Diesel Technician

We are seeking two experienced diesel technicians with at least 6+ years of professional experience. The ideal candidates are self-sufficient, skilled, and able to diagnose and repair without the need for constant oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems across a wide range of vehicles (F250s to semi-trucks).

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and major repairs on brands including Cummins, Duramax, Detroit, Caterpillar, Powerstroke, and more.

  • Handle preventive maintenance, trailer repair, aftertreatment/emissions work, and general truck/auto repairs.

  • Maintain efficiency while ensuring high-quality workmanship.

  • Collaborate with foremen and other technicians to ensure workflow and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6+ years of hands-on experience as a diesel technician.

  • Proven expertise with light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles.

  • Strong knowledge of major diesel platforms (Cummins, Duramax, Detroit, Caterpillar, Powerstroke).

  • Ability to work independently without hand-holding.

  • Must bring own tools (uniforms are provided and laundered).

Compensation

  • Hourly pay: $25 – $50/hour (based on experience).

  • Annual potential exceeding $100,000+
