Parts, Production & Estimating Specialist
Independent NAPA AutoCare Facility – Award Winning, High Volume Shop

A well-established, high-performing auto repair shop is seeking an experienced Parts, Production & Estimating Specialist to support our daily workflow, parts management, and estimating process. This is a non-customer-facing role that works closely with our Service Advisors, Technicians, and leadership team to keep the shop running smoothly.

We are a fully digital shop using Autovitals for DVI and Protractor for shop management. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, experienced in automotive operations, and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Production Coordination

  • Manage and organize daily workflow for technicians

  • Track job progress and adjust scheduling to avoid delays

  • Maintain accurate status updates for all vehicles in the shop

Parts Management

  • Source, order, and track parts for all repairs

  • Verify parts accuracy before distributing to technicians

  • Handle returns, cores, warranties, and vendor communication

  • Keep all documentation updated in Protractor

Estimating

  • Build accurate estimates using technician notes, inspections, and DVIs

  • Confirm pricing, labor times, and margins

  • Update estimates promptly to support customer approvals

Communication

  • Communicate job status, parts delays, and changes with Service Advisors and techs

  • Report recurring workflow or vendor issues to management

  • Document all work clearly and consistently

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years automotive experience (Service Advisor or parts background preferred)

  • Strong understanding of repair processes and parts sourcing

  • Experience with shop software (Protractor, Autovitals, or similar)

  • Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate clearly with technicians, Service Advisors, and leadership

  • Reliable, process-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Pay & Benefits

  • $65,000–$75,000 base salary

  • Hourly or salary option with production bonuses

  • Medical, dental, and vision (100 percent employer-paid in 2026)

Schedule

  • Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:30 PM

  • Friday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM

  • 43-hour workweek
