Overview

An established automotive repair shop in the Bronx is seeking a full-time Auto Service Advisor to join the team. The shop has been serving the community for decades and prides itself on quality service, well-trained technicians, and a relaxed but professional environment. With a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction, the team is equipped with modern diagnostic tools and provides ongoing training for staff.

Role and Responsibilities

The Auto Service Advisor will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth and professional experience from check-in to vehicle delivery. Key responsibilities include:

• Greeting and assisting customers in person and over the phone.

• Scheduling appointments and managing the daily workflow of the shop.

• Preparing accurate repair orders and cost estimates.

• Communicating recommended services and upselling where appropriate.

• Assigning work to technicians and monitoring productivity.

• Inspecting completed work for quality assurance.

• Managing daily checkouts and ensuring accurate records.

This role requires strong sales skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5+ years of experience in an independent or aftermarket shop environment.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Proven customer service and sales abilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary: $1,000/week.

• On-target earnings: $80K+ annually.

Work Environment and Equipment

• 10 bays, 8 lifts, Hunter alignment rack.

• Equipped with Autel, Snap-On, and Auto Logic scan tools.

• Shop software: Mitchell 1, Auto Vitals (DVI)

• Parking available for employees.

Schedule

• Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

• No weekends or evening shifts.
