Automotive Service Advisor

Location: Ottsville, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Compensation: $52,000–$65,000 base salary (depending on experience) + performance-based commission
Benefits Start: Day one

Position Summary

Promotive is hiring an experienced Service Advisor for a top-performing independent shop in Ottsville, PA! This is a full-time, Monday–Friday opportunity with no weekends, a strong base salary, and a performance-based commission structure. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, excels at building customer relationships, and can confidently manage both repair sales and shop workflow. Key Responsibilities

• Greet and consult customers on their automotive service needs

• Generate accurate repair estimates and communicate timelines

• Coordinate effectively with technicians and foreman to dispatch work

• Monitor repair progress and proactively update customers

• Upsell preventative maintenance and recommended services

• Document all work using Tekmetric and related shop software

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment

Requirements

• 3+ years of Service Advisor experience, preferably in both dealer and independent shops

• Experience with Tekmetric, Steer, or other modern shop management/CRM tools

• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals and ARO targets

• Outgoing and professional demeanor — must be highly organized and customer-focused

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Previous management or team lead experience is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $52,000 – $65,000 based on experience

• Commission Plan: Based on sales and gross profit – HUGE earning potential!!!

• Pay Schedule: Weekly
