Position Summary

Promotive is hiring an experienced A Level Automotive Technician for a growing, family-owned shop in Black Eagle, MT. This is a Monday-Friday opportunity with strong flat-rate pay, high earning potential, and a team that values quality work without the usual shop drama.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles

  • Use modern diagnostic tools and proven processes to identify issues efficiently

  • Maintain high-quality workmanship that meets or exceeds industry standards

  • Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to keep workflow moving

  • Mentor and support junior technicians when needed

  • Stay current with evolving automotive technology through ongoing training

  • Keep a clean and organized workspace (a good diagnostic starts with knowing where your tools are)

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience as an Automotive Technician

  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

  • Proven ability to handle complex repairs independently

  • Leadership mindset with willingness to mentor others

  • ASE certifications preferred (but not required)

  • Experience with hybrid or electric vehicles is a plus

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
