Automotive Technician A Level / Shop Foreman

Location: Harrisburg, PA
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM (Four-day workweek)
Experience Required: 5+ years of professional automotive experience

Hybrid Pay Plan – Hourly Base of $25.00 – $40.00 PLUS Production Bonuses

Position Summary

The shop is seeking an experienced A-Level Technician / Shop Foreman to join the team. The right candidate will be responsible for high-level diagnostics, repair quality, and mentoring other technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostic and repair work, including electrical and drivability issues.

• Produce consistent, high-quality labor hours.

• Train and mentor junior technicians and apprentices.

• Maintain shop organization, cleanliness, and workflow efficiency.

• Communicate effectively with service staff regarding vehicle status and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of professional automotive experience.

• ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain).

• PA State Inspection License required or ability to obtain shortly after hire.

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability.

• Leadership skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Compensation

• Pay Options: Hourly + production bonus (Hybrid pay structure)

• Base Pay Range: $25.00–$40.00 per hour (based on experience) PLUS Production Bonuses!!!

• Annual Potential: Up to $100,000+ based on performance.
